Nadia Labelle Ennadifi

 

 

Teacher Petite Section (1)

Nadia was born in Picardy. After obtaining a bachelor’s degree in geography then a master’s degree in cultures and heritage, she embarked on teaching and it was a revelation: she discovered a real passion! She wants to work with children and participate in the transmission of their knowledge by applying positive discipline. She has taught for 5 years in private establishments in the Aisne. Franco-Moroccan, she has been passionate about travel and foreign cultures from an early age, she has been able to discover more than thirty destinations around the world. She also enjoys music which she plays for leisure with her husband.

Zion Smith

Zion Smith is a new addition to ILA’s 2023 staff, and son of acclaimed children’s artist Aaron Nigel Smith. Zion got involved in education from an early age, teaching his first music classes at the age of 18 before going on to become an Americorps Member for City Year Los Angeles. Three years after completing his service in the 2018-19 school year, he returned to Portland to continue his teaching career. He currently serves as a co-director of the ILA Aftercare program, and plans to remain local for the foreseeable future.

Nogaye Diop

My name is Nogaye, I was born and raised in Senegal. After passing the teacher’s exam, I started teaching in elementary schools in 2008. I have a real passion for working with young learners to help them progress in all areas of their development.
I moved to Oregon in December 2022 with my family. I have a 12-year-old daughter who was at ILA and two boys, ages 10 and 5, who are currently at ILA. 
We enjoy watching our children’s favorite sport, soccer. I enjoy cooking, listening to music and going on short trips with my family.

My name is Nour, I was born in France, and received a Bachelor’s Degree in Education from the University of Fez in Morocco. I have a true passion for working with our youngest learners!!  Helping each child progress in all areas of their development, academic, social, language, and motor is a challenge that I am honored to accept daily.  I strive to create a community of learners that nurtures this growth in a positive, fun environment. 

Personally, I have been married for 7 glorious years and have two fantastic children who are 4, and 6 years old and attend ILA. We love to watch our kids’ sports, Soccer, Teakwood, and swim! I also enjoy reading, swimming, cooking, music, hiking, and spending time with friends and family.
